Does anyone know how to turn on or off the part of the Qualcom that lets you read messages while the truck is moving???

I would imagine that would have to be done by your terminals ADMIN personel. I can't imagine the DOT allowing qualcom to add this to a feature the driver could fix going down the road.

It depends on the company. I've was at a company where the qualcomm was in the bunk and beeped until you pulled over and read it. The cord was long enough to stretch to the front, but it wouldn't let you do anything while driving. I was at another company where the unit was installed within reach and could be used while driving.
