Default Eaton Auto Transmission

I will admit that I had a major headache with the series 1 that is in my rig. It started out not shifting on certain gears then eventually just quit all together. The Kenworth Dealership in Jackson Tn replaced the X, Y shifter and the Power interface module. In less than a week it is back to the same ole same ole, back to Kenworth. They thought one of the parts that they replaced was faulty, less than a week I'm down again, except worse, to the point that it had to be towed into Louisville Kenworth, that cost me more parts like a very expensive ECU controller just to name a few after 2 weeks in their shop I get it back to go about 400 miles and down again, This time I had it towed home back to Jackson Tn and I contacted the Eaton Corporate Headquarters and raised some heck. That afternoon they had a service rep working side by side with the mechanic and he found the problem. The wiring harnesses were completely chewed to heck. Eaton replaced the harnesses at NO COST to me, that did solve the problem and it is running great. I did call on the srvice rep one time after that for what turned out to be the clutch being worn out and he even helped me out there too. I am proud to have do dealings with Eaton and this service rep. Mr Williams is definately an asset to the Eaton company. And if there are problems I know now to rattle chains high up and I get results.
