Default thrust bearings

I have a 1980 S1854 international flat bed. It was a special order with air brakes.
I had to replace the front axle so I bought one that was out of a newer truck. Everything measures out except the overall length (the newer one is 1.5" longer). The other problem that just popped up is the axles ends where the kimg pins go through is also a 1/2" taller. Do they make a thrust bearing that is only 3/8" thick? The OD is roughly 2 7/8" the id is 1 11/16".
Thanks in advance for any help.
