Any NASCAR fans here?

I'm ready for my NASCAR fix! Daytona 500 this weekend, qualifying races were today...

Of course we've already got controversy.... 5 crew chiefs gone if I remember correctly, Waltrip's team in trouble for fuel additives, etc.


Off to an interesting start!

I always look forward to Nascar season because it is a sign that Spring is just around the corner.
Spring is also the season for farmers to start preparing the fields for planting, which reminds me that it seems that more and more fuel is being made with Corn!

They call it Ethanol! Transforming Corn mash into Alcohol with gasoline additives so no one drinks it!

I hear that Nascar is using or promoting Ethanol this year!

How true is this? and may this be the buzz about the Waltrip team using additives in their fuel?


All this is getting quite confusing, I will have to be careful and remember to eat the cob of corn but not to drink the mash but to pour it into my old panhead 's gas tank!!

I just know that one of these days I will get confused, drink the mash and then put the corn cob into my gas tank! Dam!

Almost as bad as the driver who stuck a banana down his buddies
truck fuel tank to play a joke on him!
When the driver attempted to start his truck the engine sounded like this........Chiquitachiquitachiquitachiquita!! Hee! Hee! Hee!

3/11 is the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400. Below are the 4 guys that I have running for me Sunday in my NASCAR Fantasy League. Last race these same four guys racked up 319 points for me, so I decided to let them roll.

Tony Stewart, Mark Martin, Kyle Busch, and David Stremme.

Fantasy NASCAR League? I've never heard of that, but it sounds pretty cool! I've seen the football leagues, etc, but I could dig the NASCAR one.

Be interesting to see how Montoya and Pruitt get along this week with that tangle last week.

Next season I'll get one started for this board. On an NFL board that I frequent regularly, there are 12 of us with our own league. It makes it a little more exciting every week and it's always fun to have a little side competition with fellow posters.
