Rolled out of my truck sleeper early this Sunday morning after a restful nights sleep and watched as the sun come up with a cup of hot coffee in hand and thought to myself how fortunate I was to enjoy the beauty, peace and tranquility of such a miraculous begining of a another spectacular day in free America!

I sat confortably in the drivers seat reflecting upon all of the good things I have in life such as family, Health, Prosperity, a job I love, and especially my freedom!

I also thought of people who had given up all their conforts of Home, Family, and Good Jobs to go off and fight a dirty war in a far off place filled with extreme danger, uncertainty and death!

I thought of the Families left behind in America who woke up every morning not knowing if their loved ones off in the war were still alive today or if they would even be coming home,
I thought of how They woke up in the morning not knowing if today would be the day that a knock on the door would announce the tragic news of the loss of a Mother, Father,Husband, Wife, Son or daughter.
I thought of all of those who had given everything there was to give and those who lost everything they had!

What a contrast between me wondering where in this beautiful free land of America I would be trucking to and what Truck-Stop I would park in at days end, while thousands of other good folks in a land of terror wondering if they would just be alive by the end of the day!

I thought to myself how grateful I am and how I truly thank each and every brave Soldier for giving me the feedom and the opportunity of seeing the sun come up on this beautiful Sunday morning!!

I owe so much to so many! God watch over and shield the brave men and women at war, bring them all home so they too again may see the magnificent sun coming up over the land we call America the Beautiful!

Monday I recieved my first letter from my Son-in-Law who shipped out on the 10th. He is out there somewhere in the Pacific heading that way as we speak. He is a brave young Marine, and we look forward to the day that he comes home to us safe and sound.

My daughters due date is December 7th, hopefully he'll make it back in time for the birth of their first child.

Default Thankyou to your son-in-law

Please tell your Son-in-law that we say thankyou and we appreciate him more than he will ever know!
I personally will be at St.Mary's church in New Haven Connecticut this month at a special mass for our troops with a group of Knights of Columbus which I am a member of.
I promise to say a special prayer for you, your Son-in-law, daughter and your newest family member not yet born !
God bless you and don't forget to say hello to your Son-in-law for us!

Thanks Bill... that means a lot. My wife and I were married in the Catholic Church and since my Grandpa was a Knight, I became one also. We were involved in some great work with the Knights, and I'll never forget all those weekly meetings up in the barn.

We eventually changed churches, and now belong to a non-denominational Church, but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the Knights of Columbus. Keep up the good work!

Now I know why your are as goofy as you are a fellow Catholic! Ha your secret is out. Please add our daughter to your prayers! She is also in Iraq. She will be home in July and we are counting the days. The AirForce has a great secure site where you can chat with your family member so we get to chat often. I know how much we miss her and I cannot even fathom how hard it must be on the young wives and husbands. We are very proud of her and she is also very proud of what she is doing.

Default God Bless

God Bless you Teamcaffee and rest assured that your daughter will be in my thoughts as we say a special prayer for those over seas in this terrible war!

Please thank your daughter for old Wildbill and tell her that we deeply appreciate what she is doing!

My days are filled with joy and happiness as I run the open roads of America and it's because of your daughter and many other brave individuals like her!

Tell her that I am forever grateful and wish her a safe return home soon!
