Oh! those Fuel prices

It seems that every time I shop for anything today,I find that the price has gone up 25% to 50%.
The other day for instance! I stopped in at the local grocery store to pick up a couple of 60watt light bulbs for my better half who by the way has been asking me to do that little errand for about a month, Sorry about that Honey!
Anyway! I got the light bulbs after it took me a half hour of isle hunting and
I hurried down to the quick check cash out,you know the express lane where
you are supposed to have less than 10 articles but there always seems to be some #&*%%&**( Censored ) in the line up with a whole cart full of goods.
Finally I get to the cashier who at that precise moment decides it's time to
make a money deposit and closes the register for 5 minutes,#%&*&#*&%$#
( Censored ) so I grin and bear it until she comes back and reopens!
Whew! she finally rings up the total of the purchase for the two light bulbs which come to more money than I got in my pocket,so I whip out my debit card and hand that over like I was handing over the key to my miserable
bank account.
I always feel funny about paying with plastic,it feels like I'm lettin everyone know how much or how few dollars I have in the account.
The cashier looks over at me with a look as if to say,"I know how much you have in yer account fool "
As I glance up at the cash register,I see the price of the two stupid little light bulbs, " You gotta be kidding I say to the cashier,and again she gives me the evil eye and responds,
" Well you know the price of fuel is extremely expensive and those Trucks
charge an arm and a leg to deliver this stuff ya know!!
Well Folks!! Could anybody tell me what trucks she's talking about?? cause I sure ain't making any money these days!!
Heck!! maybe she's talking about those specialty lightbulb carriers!!
Ever hear of them??Much like those refrigerated tarp carriers!

Seriously Folks!! is it just me or does it seem that everywhere you go to
buy something today,you hear the phrase, Well Sir! the price has gone up cause it costs more to deliver »
I don't think so!!!!! at least I'm not making any more money than before!!
But, I can tell you one thing for sure! Someone somewhere is making a small fortune!!
Oh! those fuel prices!!
