O/o
I strongly suggest staying away from an area of business you know little or nothing about. Trucking is a way to loose alot of money in a short period of time, even if you think you know quite a bit about it. I operate a one truck one trailer trucking company. I have in the past tried to hire a driver for my truck. Thinking that if I put a driver in this one, buy another. The drivers that seem to come my direction talk a good talk, but tear up my equipment. And, of course it wasn't their fault. Leasing your truck to another company is NOT a good business decision either. They, the company will use your equipment to their advantage, whether you make a profit or not. They, the company will see that they, the company makes a profit, regardless if you do. Truckin', ain't nothin' quite like it. A good starter book for you is, "So Ya Wanna Drive a Truck", available at, *****link removed by tjmuddslinger****. Check it out. Good luck.
