Default Truck with toilet, that's right........

That's right, you read it correctly............I've been retired for a couple of years and am currently driving OTR delivering ornamental plants from Florida, I drive no more that 5-states, but have friends and relatives throughout the USA......

My wife and I were speaking recently about purchasing a USED tractor and Trailer in a couple of years and running the country for about 3-4 years, NO MORE.............we want to treat it as a business, NOT a hobby......and make a profit if we decide to go through with our idea when the time comes....I'm only 56 and have no financial obligations or commitments that would hinder this opportunity.....

The biggest hurdle that faces me is............with my wife's bladder about the size of a Walnut and her having to pee every 30-miles it seems........do any truck sleeper areas come with chemical toilets for facilities or can you purchase one that actually works?????

If not, I can assure you, this AIN'T gonna work out...........lol...

Thanks in advance,

Josh

Wink

Josh,
The first thing I bought for my truck while I was still in training was a porta-potty. You can get them anywhere from Sears to camper supply places. Many rest areas have dump stations as do a few truck stops. And I don't care, when mine gets half full, I'll carry it right into a rest area restroom.
I put a dash of potty deoderant in it regularly.
It also comes in handy when (not if) you have diarrhea.
The challenge comes with where to put the darn thing in the truck.
Oh, and please open it just a crack when you go over the mountains. Otherwise, you're likely to get splashed when you flush.

God bless,
Lula

Hi, I have a 2001 Western Star with 76" sleeper. Our porta-potty sits halfways under the sleeper by the coat closet. Its out of the way but handy in emergencies and when my wife rides with. I don't leave home without it!
Ride on!

Default my two cents

When you start looking for the truck to purchase some obviously are customized but the level to which they have done so varies greatly.
there is a company in Indiana that customizes sleepers all the time, that is basically all they do and you can change a couple of things in stock truck or they can gut it and make a rolling hotel like some of the high class motorhomes complete with washer, dryer and stand up shower(which isn't cheap).

Either way I understand your situation/concern and I have considered at least having a toilet added to my truck by someone like these guys for all reasons anyone can think of (including the fact public toilets are not what they used to be)

I believe the company is called indiana custom sleepers or the initals ICS but I'm sure most dealers and alot of other truckers can point you to them or other companies like them depending on your location. I think I remeber them having used trucks for sale themselves so that might be a thing to remeber too.
Good Luck and happy Hunting
Erik
