I'm BookBimbo, but you probably figured that out from my username. Give yourself a big round of applause. I'm not being sarcastic, we don't get enough gold stars next to our names once we get out of sixth grade.
I live in a cabin in the woods on a peninsula on Puget Sound in Washington state. It's gorgeous here and I love it, except when I need something like food, stockings, books, or Dolce & Gabbana cologne. I can get some of those things locally, but they're rather expensive.
I'm married to a man I refer to online as The Adored One, because well, I adore him. We have a dog, and officially one cat. I say officially because the cat lives down in his shop, and doesn't seem to mind sharing her food and living quarters with other cats and from the claw and tooth marks on the food bin, a raccoon.
I'm a pushy know it all who loves good and mediocre books, including chick lit, pizza with pepperoni and onion on it, long hot baths that last so long that the water cools so I need to let some water out and add more hot water, tropical Skittles, Windsor chairs, boating, heavy metal and classic rock, 80s New Wave and punk, CSI, Boston Legal, dogs, leather purses by Coach and Disney snowglobes.
I dislke Rush, people who insist that The DaVinci Code shouldn't be in the fiction section, housework, cooked vegtables, country music, the word "lawyer" because for some reason I screw it up when I pronounce it, so I say attorney instead, making me sound more pretentious than I already am, badly made clothes, septum piercings, bigots who aren't bigotted about the same things I am, The Left Behind series, and lizards.
As you may have noticed, I tend to ramble.
