Hello From Central New York

I'm glad to be a member of this great site.....
I'm in a beautiful area of New York State, in the middle of dairy farm country, with large tracts of state land nearby.

Originally from Westchester County, just above New York City, the rolling hills here are what first attracted us.

My little slice of heaven... on the "back forty" Vette barn, and chicken barn.

You in the Catskills?

Hi MT,

No, I'm on the West side of the Hudson River, though I lived in the Catskill region until moving here in 1972.

I'm in Central New York State... Quite unpopulated, the way I like it. Most people, even New Yorkers, are not aware of the large amount of state forests, farmlands, and undeveloped land in the state.

When looking for land to build on, I placed my finger in the center of the map of NY, and started looking there. I knew immediately this was it.
