My name is Debby. I am the owner of Lynn/Rich Transport Inc. A small over the road trucking company who hauled general commodities from 1998 to 2000.
Due to the economy and lack of money back in 2000, I was forced to sell my rigs and close my doors. My husband at the time is now a company driver for another trucking company until this coming November when my trucking company will be once again open and in full operation under a new name, new rigs of our own, our own authority and new trailers etc.
We are located in Georgia and will haul coast to coast.
I now own various online buisness’s, I am an author of one book on Barns and Nobel and have two more books coming out in November, A freelance writer for also trucking magazines both online and off line, such as Layover.com, Transport Topics etc. Not to mention I have recently been nominated and accepted as the 2006 Poetry Ambassador for the United States of America.
On top of all that I do above, I also work on a farm when they need me for I have a love of horses until this coming November as well and stay quite active in the Back Country Horsemans association, and other Horse organizations such as the Rockdale Trail Blazers etc. Or any horse related issues.
In November of this year I plan on owning and operating my own ranch for sick, injured, neglected and abused farm animals along with wild horses. I plan on having other activities as well for this ranch to make it into a working guest ranch to help with costs of the operations of this ranch on top of my trucking company, online business’s and my writing.
As you all can quite see I stay busy and am quite busy at all times which I guess keeps me young.
I’ve even been out there on the roads for weeks to months and have almost seen it all. I am a member of OOIDA or Owner Operator Independent Association and do also help them when they need help fighting for the rights of truck drivers out on the roads.
I have various trucking wives support groups on the internet as well who can talk if they are not to busy just to let off steam because of the loneliness that we also endure or to just make online friends who do understand what they are going through.
