Default Shining Shiny Stuff

My hobby is keeping our truck clean and what is supposed to be shiny, shiny. This has been a struggle this winter keeping the salt off. I have been using Mothers Paste and also a product called Wicked Products Lightening shine metal polish. I use both hand applied and also the buffer. I also spend a lot of time keeping the cab waxed. I have a little stool that I roll around on that we bought from Harbor Freight that folds up flat. I really like to use this as it keeps my knees from hurting. Does any one have any products they would recommend or tips on keeping everything looking great?

A few weeks back, I had a Tanker pass me up heading East on the 10. On the back of his tanker he had painted in big letters, "If it don't shine... it ain't mine". The funny part was that the truck was filthy. We had rain a few days before, so I gave him the benifit of the doubt. I'm sure it cleans up well. LOL

You would have to be pretty brave to put a sign like that on your truck. You shine everything, then it rains, snows, or the dirt blows and you do it all over again.
