Default October Shutdown

I've been hearing that there is a movement to get all drivers to shut down at the end of October, in protest of freight rates, fuel prices, etc. Personally I'm not sure a shutdown/strike is the answer. Just curious as to what anyone else thinks about this, and what would be the best way to bring about any changes, i.e. strike or something else.

Smile shutdown

wonderful idea, but will never happen. too many people worry about today and not tomorrow.

we have called for all of our drivers to have a shutdown, it's about 50/50
