Default Is there a list of items to take on the truck???

I am a newbie driver, just got my CDL. Going to be joining my husband in driving teams. Since we intend to be out for several weeks at a time, was wondering what were the most important items not to be forgot. Or is there a popular place to see a list of good items to pack? I have been out many times with him for a couple of weeks, so I know I love the life, but want to make sure we stay healthy and happy while out there. Already have gotten him a LARGE inverter, microwave, George Foreman grill, CB, TV, DVD player, VHS player. Also, I had no problems cooking while we were traveling, but was wondering if anyone else knows the best methods of cleaning utensils?? Thought about a large tupperware bin to hold water??? ANY advice is certainly helpful, I have learned a million things just reading over all these postings!!! Thanks for the help!!

there is no hard and fast list of things to take. My word you seem to have stocked the truck very well, hey I don't even have all those items in my truck. The best rule of thumb is take what makes you feel comfortable but don't forget that you only have a limited amount of space in the truck so you can't take your house for instance or the king size bed that you would like to have. I do carry a large tupperware bin, well medium sized, to wash dishes etc. in and I carry another one to give my little guard dog a bath every once in a while when she gets to smelling rather rank. If you take things that you think that you need but you find that you don't you can always take them back home and drop them off.

Everyone is different and you have to judge what is right for you. For instance my wife bought one of the little portable potties which you can buy for a very reasonable price from Bass Pro Shops or similar stores on line. From my wifes viewpoint this has been a very pleasant addition to the truck and I have to say that it has come in handy a few times, enuff said about that. I have seen some trucks just like a home inside and others are pretty plain. You have to feel your way around and find out what you are comfortable with.

I will have to agree with lenutt, you have it all covered. Except maybe important phone numbers for your home, and maybe if you or your husband take medicine make sure you have your prescription's with you so you can get them filled on the road.
