Is Chevy overselling its trucks' ability to use ethanol?

Lester Brown tilts at the gas-tax windmill

It's probably the least opportune time in years, politically speaking, to make the argument for really high gas taxes. But that isn't stopping Lester Brown.

The professorial sustainability activist was founder of the scholarly and well-thought-of Worldwatch Institute that does the annual state of the world's environment report. Brown argues in an article released today that we should institute a 30-cent-per-gallon gas tax increase every year for the next 10 years.

Rest of the Story

This Lester Brown does not take into consideration the cost to the trucking industry. IMHO.. Too many chiefs with too little understanding of the big picture regarding gas availability and pricing.
