Default He is thinking of driving truck

A frend of mine is thinking of driving truck. Looking for a GOOD school in the Las Vegas Area. Can anyone help him out with this. Also would be interested in hooking up with a company that does west coast to midwest if that is possible.

Thanks for your help

I would do a search on the internet for trucking schools. As for jobs check out www.1800drivers.com pretty good place to start.

Default O/o

I first strongly suggest that he read a real imformative book about trucking. So Ya Wanna Drive a Truck, available at lulu.com/truckin. It was written with the beginner in mind although there is something in it for everyone. Truckin, aint nothing quite like it. No real rules, just selective enforcement. Safety number one?, NO-Just revenue for everyone but the driver/operator. Enjoy the read.
