Default ALWAYS do your pretrip

Yes!! it is VERY important to do your PTI in the AM or whenever you start out.. MAIN REASON: I have had my fifth wheel pulled several times while parked. Yes there are idiots out there that do this kind of stuff. ONE WAY to avoid having your fifth wheel pulled: set the trailer brakes, go into first gear and put some tension on the kingpin and fifth wheel and then pull the yellow brake. then put the tranny in neutral. that will make it NEARLY impossible for somebody to pull the fifth wheel (at least the fontaine)

Another reason to pretrip: you never know what (or who) ended up under your trailer while your were asleep.. yes, i once found somebody sleeping under my trailer it was about a year ago at a flying j in FL somewhere.

You always need to check your tires cause with dually's the only to check for a flat is to pound on each tire.

The biggest point I am trying to stress is you need to be careful, because people DO tamper with other peoples trucks.. Maybee i got targeted because I drove for schneider
