As with everything in this world, there are several choices when looking into buying a used truck. Not every truck is a good truck and several companies have struggled over the years to make trucks that are popular with buyers without breaking the bank. This is no easy task as a truck generally takes a lot more money to build than a car.
There is no right or wrong answer when asking which truck brand is the best. It can be as simple as a matter of personal preference over actual reliability. There are ratings systems that are used by different consumer groups but sometimes you have to wonder if they are actually a biased body or just a front for those who receive money for advertising.
What it all boils down to is the personal preference of the buyer. Below is a list of the 5 most reliable truck brands to give you a basic idea of what is available out there.
1. KENWORTH – As a competitor on the highways, Kenworth has made its mark. As a brand, Kenworth is one of the most popular and they can be seen everywhere you turn on the highways traveled by truckers.
2.
3. MACK – For truckers, Mack is the veteran with the most to offer. Known for their heavy duty reliable machines, Mack has the reputation that one needs in this business. Mack offers a no frills approach to the trucking industry.
